About the position

As a Hospitality Specialist at SpotOn, you will play a crucial role in helping restaurants and small businesses thrive through our innovative payment and software technology. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a local representative in your assigned territory, promoting our comprehensive product suite to local business owners and restaurant operators. This position is designed for motivated individuals who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and excel at building new relationships. You will be expected to deeply understand the challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and leverage our technology to help them overcome these hurdles and enhance their operations. In this role, you will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets, particularly in selling our software and point-of-sale solutions along with payment processing services. You will travel to client sites within your designated geographical territory, where you will engage with potential clients, build rapport, and sign up new local business owners and merchants. Collaboration with our extended Sales Support team will be essential to achieving your monthly sales performance goals, ensuring that you have the resources and support needed to succeed. Responsibilities

  • Be a local representative for SpotOn in your community by offering advanced technology to local business owners that will help run and grow their businesses.
  • Travel to and from client sites within a designated geographical territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new local business owners and merchants.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish with a growing portfolio of clients.
  • Hit sales targets, with a particular focus on selling software & point-of-sale solutions along with payment processing.
  • Work closely with our extended Sales Support team to help reach your monthly sales performance goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience with an emphasis on small business owners, merchants, and restaurants.
  • Proven track record delivering against sales goals with a metrics-oriented, need-to-win attitude.
  • Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory buildout experience.
  • Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a plus.
  • Maintain and manage the client relationship in collaboration with our internal support teams to ensure the success & satisfaction of your customer portfolio.
  • The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations.
  • Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable.
