About the position

Are you a SALES PRO looking to make an IMPACT? Our ideal candidate must be able to develop relationships with local centers of influence at commercial properties and provide quick response times to calls within their geographic area. Additionally, candidates must have availability 24/7 to respond quickly to local emergencies. Our sales team is given a base salary and typically earns between $60-$150k annually. There is no experience required, but a great attitude and a desire to assist people after a disaster are necessary! If you are driven to succeed you have the possibility of earning well into the six (6) figures in your first year. In this role, you will be pursuing emergency leads to sell our company's services to affected homeowners and/or business owners. You will be expected to show up at the scene of an emergency, make contact with the property owner, and sell our necessary and required services to mitigate the damage caused by the emergency. You need to be active, self-motivated, have good communication skills, responsible, professional, and experienced in the marketing field to build customer relations and create future clientele and revenue growth. Having empathy and sympathy is required to be successful. Your primary responsibilities will include promoting and selling franchise services in your assigned territory, which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. You will grow and develop a commercial customer base by utilizing a systematic business development process to identify new commercial prospects and cultivate relationships using marketing materials like SERVPRO® Key Differentiators, Emergency Ready Plan, National sponsorships, and others to market and sell SERVPRO® Services. You will also attend, coordinate, and promote marketing, networking, and continuing education events, monitor loss activity, and respond to generate work from these opportunities. Clear communication and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates will be essential to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue emergency leads to sell services to homeowners and business owners.
  • Show up at the scene of emergencies and make contact with property owners.
  • Promote and sell franchise services in assigned territory to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Grow and develop a commercial customer base using a systematic business development process.

  • Monitor loss activity and respond to generate work from opportunities.
  • Provide clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates.
  • Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience.
  • Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector.
  • Superb sales, customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial background with a process- and results-driven attitude.
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in Construction/Restoration sales and chasing fires is a huge plus.
  • Amazing winning attitude, high energy, and passion are a plus!
  • Ability to work independently and establish relationships with local emergency response agencies.
