About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Jasper Engines & Transmissions is responsible for cultivating business relationships and driving sales within the Bay Area, specifically in Santa Rosa, Eureka, and Ukiah. This role involves engaging with independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, and national accounts. The representative will utilize a proven sales system, develop sales proposals, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the company and cultivate business with customers in the Bay Area.
• Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing material.
• Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory.
• Work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets.
• Perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals and presentations.
• Work with cross-functional teams (inside sales, customer service, production, distribution).
• Plan and manage accounts effectively.
• Introduce new products and updates to customers.
• Develop and build long-term value-based relationships.
• Focus on prospecting to grow the business.

Requirements

• Degree or sales experience preferred.
• Hunter sales mentality.
• Motivation as a self-starter.
• Automotive background/knowledge is beneficial.
• Integrity and honesty in all dealings.
