The Salon Business Partner (SBP) is a pivotal role within SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L'Oréal USA, responsible for driving the growth and development of the local Stylist and Salon community. This position is focused on supplying the best products, education, and innovation in the professional beauty industry. The SBP is tasked with meeting and exceeding sales objectives within their assigned territory by leveraging brand-provided education, sales promotions, and professional business development strategies. The role involves coordinating with OMNI channels and brand partners to organize essential education and training events that drive promotional opportunities in salons and stores. Additionally, the SBP will attend prominent industry trade shows and events to foster and deepen customer relationships. In terms of responsibilities, the SBP engages in consultative sales by developing tailored salon business plans and collaborating with small business owners to identify their goals and challenges. This involves promoting industry-leading business strategies to establish long-term partnerships and conducting regular consultations to provide customized solutions. The SBP also monitors sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities, ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives are met. Education and training are critical components of the SBP's role, as they coordinate with internal brand partners to schedule and promote educational events, workshops, and training sessions tailored to salon owners and staff. The SBP must stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Administrative duties include managing remote order entry, participating in sales meetings, and effectively utilizing digital platforms and social media to engage the local salon community. The SBP is responsible for monitoring product orders based on customer needs and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders regarding the effectiveness of beauty partner programs. This role requires a high level of organization, flexibility, and a results-driven mindset, as well as the ability to work independently in the field while maintaining communication with management.
