About the position

The Outside Sales Representative for Spirolite HDPE Products at ISCO Industries LLC is a pivotal role focused on facilitating customer success and expanding the company's market share in the municipal piping industry. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where the representative will engage with various stakeholders, including engineering firms, government agencies, industrial manufacturers, OEM accounts, and contractors across the Western US Territory. The representative will be responsible for presenting ISCO's Spirolite HDPE Pipe, showcasing its value and benefits to potential clients, and ultimately driving revenue growth for the company. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will explore new business opportunities and prospects, making initial contacts and nurturing relationships to convert leads into sales. A significant part of the job involves recording all sales activities and customer interactions in the internal CRM database, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and performance. The representative will also represent ISCO at industry events and professional associations, promoting the company's products and fostering positive relationships within the industry. The role requires a strong emphasis on customer relationship management, where the representative will develop accounts and build lasting relationships with customers. This includes forming alliances to maximize revenue opportunities and improving customer satisfaction through effective communication and service. The representative will prepare sales information, quotes, market analysis, and sales expenses for management, coordinating all sales efforts with the customer service associate to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Additionally, the Outside Sales Representative will be involved in preparing presentations and reports for sales meetings, making decisions on pricing negotiations, and performing other duties as necessary to support the sales process and achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent ISCO within the industry and professional associations to develop positive relationships.
  • Research solutions for customer needs using available sales tools.
  • Communicate the value of ISCO Spirolite HDPE Products and services to prospects.
  • Develop accounts and build customer relationships.
  • Form alliances and partner with customers to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and develop positive business relationships.
  • Prepare sales information and quotes for customers, including market analysis and sales expenses for management.
  • Coordinate all sales efforts and work as a team with the customer service associate.
  • Research, prepare presentations and reports for sales meetings.
  • Make decisions and negotiate pricing for various sales efforts.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in the Municipal Piping Industry, including Storm Water, Waste Water, Water Works, Concrete Pipe, Fiberglass Pipe, or HDPE Pipe collection systems.
