About the position

The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating profitable revenue through new business development and upselling to existing clients within Indiana and Ohio. This role requires a proactive approach to building a new territory with a proven service/product, focusing on complex sales opportunities and fostering strong relationships with clients in the commercial construction and related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable revenue through new business and upselling to existing clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop informational presentations and lead in-store dealership meetings.
  • Use the Challenger based selling approach to close complex sales opportunities.
  • Utilize insight and consultative selling techniques to engage clients on security strategies.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to build consensus for the company's services.
  • Independently strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
  • Develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers and clients.
  • Penetrate and build relationships in major corporate offices of dealer groups.
  • Develop strategies to gain market share in high-value target verticals.
  • Strengthen relationships with Customer Experience Managers to ensure unparalleled service.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of sales experience in relevant industries (Automotive, Marine, RV, Power sports, Distribution Centers).
  • Successful record of selling a service with a required service agreement.
  • Understanding and demonstration of Challenger selling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain control in the sales process from prospect to close.
  • Salesforce CRM experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Experience selling SaaS products.
  • Experience selling into dealerships like automotive, RV, marine, or powersports.
