Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is searching for a results-driven Outside Sales Representative (Territory Manager) to generate and pursue leads, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and promote and sell welding and industrial gas products and/or services. This position primarily involves meeting existing and future customers face-to-face and traveling to various customer locations within a designated territory. Ultimately, in this role, you will leverage your sales expertise to drive profitability and achieve sales objectives within the organization. In this position, you will serve as a strategic partner to develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers through effective negotiation in a designated geographical territory. You will identify sales strategies to meet targets that promote long-term profitability and develop and execute evidence-based sales plans to meet objectives. Traveling to businesses to conduct sales presentations will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as delivering messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner that helps to resolve clients' concerns. Maintaining detailed records on key accounts within the customer relationship management system is essential, as is presenting in-depth reports to the director of sales and other stakeholders as required. You will also conduct regular market research to maintain an updated knowledge of consumers' needs, competitors' activities, and the marketplace. Participating in industry events will help you refine your skills and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships. Adaptability to changing conditions and understanding the implications of key financial indicators will be crucial in this role. You will be expected to experiment to find new solutions by evaluating the pros and cons, risks, and benefits of different solution options.
