We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Territory Manager to serve clients in the Greater Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will work independently to determine the best strategies for growing your market. Your primary focus will be on providing top solutions for both the company and our customers, ensuring quality service and reliability. Responsibilities include managing current customer accounts, increasing sales, and expanding your overall account base. You will treat your territory as if it is your own business, utilizing your follow-up skills to help us become the preferred choice for our customers. Given that the territory encompasses the Greater Columbus, OH Metropolitan Area, familiarity with this geography will be advantageous. With hundreds of established accounts already in the book of business and significant growth anticipated, success in this role is highly attainable. To support your success, we provide hands-on training and professional development opportunities, including visits to our headquarters, product training, shadowing experienced Outside Sales Representatives, and personalized one-on-one training with high-performing Sales Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts in the Greater Columbus area.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Provide quality service and reliability to customers.
  • Utilize follow-up skills to maintain customer relationships.
  • Treat the territory as a personal business to maximize growth.

Requirements

  • Two years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution sector.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills and highly organized.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively from home.
  • Professional and polished demeanor.
  • A strong desire to succeed and grow financially.
