About the position

The Territory Manager-Mobile position at HVSINC is a dynamic role focused on generating profitable revenue through the acquisition of new customers and the growth of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive sales professional, often referred to as a 'Hunter', who thrives in a competitive environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. This position is not suited for those who prefer account management or order-taking roles; instead, it requires a strong drive to build a new territory using a proven service and product offering. In this role, the Territory Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This will involve creating effective sales plans, actively prospecting for new business opportunities, and driving sales within the assigned territory, which covers all of Northern California. The successful candidate will develop a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue by adhering to the sales process and managing opportunities through Salesforce. Building relationships at various levels with target accounts is crucial, and the Territory Manager will utilize direct sales techniques and conduct on-site meetings to promote the company's value proposition. The role also requires the ability to provide technical solutions that help prospects and customers achieve their business objectives. The candidate will leverage social media and prospecting intelligence resources to enhance their outreach and effectiveness in negotiations for sales and service agreements. Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the company's solutions and services is essential, as is portraying the company positively in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable revenue through new business and upselling to existing clients within assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas as set by the company.
  • Create effective sales plans, proactively prospecting for net-new business opportunities and driving sales in assigned territory to exceed quota.
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Develop relationships at various levels with target accounts through use of direct sales techniques and conduct on-site meetings.
  • Promote our value proposition by providing technical solutions to help prospects and customers meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Use social media and prospecting intelligence resources.
  • Negotiate sales and/or service agreements.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services.
  • Portray the company in a positive light.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales experience; preferably selling into the commercial construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Recognized record of sales achievement; experience selling service-based contracts a strong plus.
  • Ability to systematically solve problems and hypothesize possible client pain points, expectations, and needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present tailored information to customers and prospects via phone, web and face-to-face.
  • Proven ability to maintain control and ensure continual forward movement in the sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
