About the position

The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating profitable revenue through new business development and upselling to existing clients within the designated territory of Missouri and Kansas. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on building relationships and driving revenue through strategic selling techniques. The ideal candidate will utilize a Challenger-based selling approach to manage complex sales opportunities and will be expected to meet or exceed sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable revenue through new business and upselling to existing clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop informational presentations and lead in-store dealership meetings.
  • Use the Challenger-based selling approach to close complex sales opportunities.
  • Engage in consultative selling techniques to address client security strategies and challenges.
  • Build consensus among client stakeholders for the company's services.
  • Strategize collaboratively to solve deal-level challenges.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with new and existing dealers and clients.
  • Penetrate major corporate offices of dealer groups to focus on business development.
  • Develop strategies to gain market share in high-value target verticals.
  • Strengthen relationships with Customer Experience Managers to ensure exceptional service.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of sales experience in relevant industries such as Automotive, Marine, RV, or Distribution Centers.
  • Successful record of selling a service with a required service agreement.
  • Understanding and demonstration of Challenger selling skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify client pain points.
  • Ability to tailor communications to meet client needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain control of the sales process from prospect to close.
  • Salesforce CRM experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling SaaS products.
  • Experience selling into dealerships such as automotive, RV, marine, or powersports.
