About the position

The Solutions Specialist (Outside Sales Rep) for Total Industries is responsible for prospecting and developing new racking and conveyor customers within an assigned sales territory. This role involves conducting customer needs analysis, providing proposals and demos, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The Solutions Specialist will collaborate with other sales consultants and subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive warehouse solutions, maintaining high standards of integrity and communication throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Source and provide the best warehouse solutions for new and existing customers.
• Strive for professionalism, observing and complying with all Company regulations and policies.
• Represent the Company loyally, faithfully, with honesty and integrity.
• Sell the products and services within established Company prices and policies.
• Maintain accurate and current customer profiles on all accounts.
• Keep customer database current for each account and customer engaged.
• Achieve annual sales volumes and gross profit goals each year.

Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 2+ years progressive experience working in a Material Handling, industrial equipment or related B2B warehouse and product sales environment
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees, vendors, and customers
• Ability to work under pressure, shift priorities in a changing environment, be self-directed, and use good business judgment
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
• Demonstrated ability to maintain records and stay current with administrative responsibilities
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research
• Clear DMV record, drug screen and background check and active CDL
