About the position

GCG is seeking a talented Territory Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to join our Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Division. In this role, you will be the driving force behind customer retention and revenue growth across Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina. Your mission is to educate our customers on the full suite of cutting-edge solutions offered by the CNS division, ensuring they get the best solutions for their needs. As an OSR, you'll be the quarterback of the sales process, collaborating closely with our dedicated inside sales and customer service teams. You'll have the autonomy to shape your territory's success and the support of a company that values innovation and teamwork. In terms of business development, you will grow and retain business within core accounts by selling our full suite of products and services. This includes identifying, targeting, and developing new accounts to expand market presence, managing and growing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving customer retention. You will utilize our Sales Process daily to ensure consistent and effective customer interactions, identify and engage with influencers and decision-makers to support account strategy, and execute overall account strategies while proactively pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Your goal will be to minimize churn and maximize retention within assigned accounts. For sales execution, you will use Salesforce to log opportunities and sales call/meeting data, coordinate with Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to resolve customer issues and requests, and collaborate with team members to execute strategic account plans. You will also develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, applications, and manufacturing systems to address customer needs effectively, conduct technical consultations, and perform product demonstrations to meet customer requirements. To ensure your professional development, you will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing trade publications, and participating in product training. A key aspect of your role will be to develop and maintain a "Customer First" approach in every interaction to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and retain business within core accounts by selling our full suite of products and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of related experience in sales, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to engage in detailed discussions about product applications and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results
  • Travel required (25%-50%) within the assigned region to meet with customers
  • Ability to attend training and strategic planning sessions as needed
