As a Sales Representative for Charter Communications, you will play a crucial role in connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new residential customers through door-to-door solicitation from assigned leads. This position requires a tenacious and driven individual who excels in environments where rewards are based on effort, providing uncapped potential for success. You will conduct proactive consultative needs analyses with prospective customers, developing and presenting tailored sales presentations and proposals that meet their specific needs. In addition to acquiring new customers, you will be responsible for accurately completing all necessary paperwork to support sales activities, ensuring compliance with quality control guidelines. This includes dispositioning, entering sales orders, and reporting on sales. You will actively participate in team meetings and training programs, supporting team goals and achieving monthly sales quotas in high-speed data, mobile, landline phone, and video sales. Your role will also involve staying well-informed about competitors' activities in your assigned territory, reporting any changes in competitive pricing programs or marketing directives to your manager. The position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. You will spend approximately 90% of your time in an outside environment, which may include exposure to inclement weather, and minimal time in an office setting.
