About the position

Eastern Lift Truck Co. is currently seeking an Account Manager to support our Reading, PA location and surrounding territories. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing aftermarket sales within your territory, contributing to the team effort by meeting and exceeding sales goals, and servicing existing accounts while establishing new ones. You will need to plan and organize your daily work schedule to effectively call on existing or potential customers, achieving 50+ "touches" per day. Superior customer service is a key component of this role, and you will be expected to prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and conduct monthly and annual territory analysis. This is a true Outside Sales Position, where you will spend four days physically out in your territory and one in-office day to build key relationships at your branch. The performance and success of your territory will require you to establish new relationships while maintaining and strengthening existing business. You will be responsible for the sale of contracts for maintenance and repair programs for material handling equipment. Responsibilities

  • Grow aftermarket sales within your territory

Requirements

  • Outside Sales experience preferred
  • High energy individual with a 'hunter mentality'
  • Results oriented, self-starter able to work independently
  • Strong competitive drive
  • Ability to build long lasting relationships
  • Unwavering customer service drive and focus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
  • Technologically fluent (Word and Excel skills)
  • Industry experience preferred
  • College Degree preferred
