About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Terminix is responsible for building strong relationships with customers and providing solutions to their pest control needs. This role involves a combination of training, fieldwork, and sales, where the representative will learn to inspect for pest infestations and present tailored solutions to clients. Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify pest infestations and conditions conducive to infestations.
• Develop and deliver proposals and presentations to potential customers.
• Generate new business by meeting and greeting potential customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle delinquent accounts with professionalism and effectiveness.
• Participate in training modules and on-the-job training with teammates.
• Learn product knowledge and sales techniques for selling Terminix products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license from current state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Experience or training in sales is preferred.
• Basic math skills for calculations and following product instructions.
