About the position

TarHeel Basement Systems, a Groundworks Company, is seeking talented Outside Sales Representatives, also known as Certified Field Inspectors (CFIs), to join their team in the Raleigh, NC area. CFIs are integral to the success of our organization, acting as the primary point of contact for homeowners. They partner with clients to diagnose issues related to foundation repair and water management services, providing tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of each homeowner. This role is not just about sales; it’s about building relationships and trust with customers, ensuring they feel confident in the solutions provided. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will travel within your designated sales territory to conduct in-home inspections. Utilizing warm, pre-qualified leads, you will develop and maintain a robust book of business. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and educating homeowners about the issues they face, estimating necessary repairs, and providing them with generated job proposals. Closing sales with customers in their homes is a key aspect of this role, as is maintaining ongoing relationships with customers while tracking your sales lead pipeline. This position offers an industry-leading commission program with no cap on earnings, allowing for an average annual earning potential of $200,000 to $300,000. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in commission-driven sales, business-to-consumer and/or in-home sales is a plus
  • Experience in Construction or Home Improvement is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial attitude focused on driving performance and customer service and satisfaction
