As an Outside Sales Representative, you will serve as the voice and initial point of contact for our company, playing a crucial role in driving sales and building customer relationships. This position is characterized by its business-to-business focus, where you will utilize your exceptional sales skills to understand the needs of potential clients and convert them into loyal customers. Your daily responsibilities will include cold calling, prospecting for new leads, managing customer relationships, and following up with clients to ensure their needs are met. You will also be responsible for managing leads through our CRM system and generating reports to track your sales performance. The ideal candidate will be organized, thorough, and strategic, with a strong ability to build relationships and sell our equipment rental services effectively. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for customers and prospects.
  • Utilize sales skills to understand customer needs and convert them into loyal clients.
  • Conduct cold calling and prospecting to generate new leads.
  • Manage customer relationships and follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain and manage leads through CRM software.
  • Generate sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of sales experience.
  • Sales or rental background in construction and/or industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Proven track record in outside sales and customer development.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license in good standing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the construction or industrial equipment rental industry.
  • Three years of sales experience preferred.
