About the position

The Outside Sales Representative will join VERO Network on a full-time basis, playing a crucial role in the company's mission to become a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry. This position is designed to directly impact the overall success of VERO by connecting with the communities served and offering best-in-class internet services. The primary responsibility of the Outside Sales Representative is to engage in door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers, thereby driving new revenue for the company. In this role, the representative will acquire new residential customers through direct contact from assigned leads, actively supporting efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. A deep understanding of VERO's product offerings is essential, as the representative will need to align the correct services with customer needs. Collaboration with marketing, business development, and operational teams is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring that sales efforts are in sync with marketing campaigns and new market expansions. The Outside Sales Representative will track sales activity meticulously, ensuring accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that management and other departments will analyze regularly. Participation in sales strategies, including marketing campaigns and community events, is expected to increase market share. Additionally, the representative will support team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned, while also completing all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with departmental practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities.
  • Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads.
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide knowledge and sell Vero Network services to customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their need.
  • Work with marketing, business development and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions.
  • Track sales activity and ensure accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments within the Company.
  • Participate in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences to that result in increasing market share.
  • Support team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Sales experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow is required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Engaging interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $55,000 per year plus commissions ($25,000-$30,000 annually).
