About The Position

The Outside Sales Representative at ICONIX Waterworks is responsible for maintaining and expanding the customer base by utilizing professional selling skills to identify and meet customer needs. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their situations, and providing personalized solutions to enhance business opportunities. The representative will also be tasked with submitting quotes for construction bids and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and delivery of promises.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of sales experience or related field experience in building and retaining a dedicated customer base.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers.
• Strong prioritization skills to focus on high-value activities.
• Ability to work independently and stay on-task in a chaotic environment.
• Valid driver's license.

• Maintain and grow ICONIX's customer base by utilizing professional selling skills.
• Identify customer needs and look for opportunities to expand business by offering additional goods or services.
• Source information about clients' businesses to anticipate opportunities for providing products and services.
• Submit quotes to customers outlining pricing for required supplies and materials for construction bids.
• Build strong relationships with customers and establish trust by demonstrating company values.
• Overcome objections in the sales process and understand each customer's unique situation.
• Deliver agreed-upon promises and co-create future growth opportunities.
