As an Outside Sales Representative at Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services. This position involves door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers, where you will actively engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new residential customers through proactive consultative needs analysis, ensuring that you develop and present compelling sales presentations that align with customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately completing all necessary paperwork to support your sales activities, adhering to quality control guidelines. This includes dispositioning, entering sales orders, and reporting on sales metrics. You will also be expected to participate actively in team meetings and training programs, contributing to team goals and achieving monthly sales quotas across various products, including high-speed data, mobile, landline phone, and video services. Your success will depend on your ability to stay informed about competitors' activities in your assigned territory, allowing you to adapt your sales strategies accordingly. You will spend approximately 90% of your time in an outside environment, which may include exposure to inclement weather, while minimal time will be spent in an office setting. This position requires a strong personal drive to succeed and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
