About the position

Consolidated Assurance is seeking a driven individual with outside sales experience to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative. This position is unique as it focuses on selling a niche insurance product exclusively to Fire, Police, and EMS personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and selling within a designated territory, which comes with the advantage of a dedicated retention team and a culture of practice and support. This role is designed for someone who is self-motivated and has a strong work ethic, as it operates on a commission-only basis with performance-based bonuses. The potential for income is significant, with top producers earning upwards of $300,000 annually. The company has a proven model that allows for this level of income through group presentations rather than traditional door-to-door sales. In this role, you will develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the products offered, establish and maintain relationships with key personnel in First Responder agencies, and deliver scripted presentations in group settings. It is essential to ensure that all sales, compliance, and legal policies and procedures are met while updating contacts and sales information through our supplied CRM. Although insurance experience is not required, prior business ownership or 1099 experience is strongly preferred. You will need to be able to memorize scripted presentations and present information effectively in group settings. Additionally, the ability to travel within the selected sales territory is a must, as conducting business in a professional demeanor is crucial to success in this position.
