About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Core & Main is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the construction supply and industrial distribution sectors. This role emphasizes proactive engagement, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service while allowing for flexibility in scheduling and income potential based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
• Provide top-notch customer service and solutions to exceed customer expectations.
• Engage proactively in sales activities and problem-solving.
• Create and manage a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with general contractors and municipalities.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution.
• Prior experience working with general contractors and/or municipalities.
