About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Frontier Communications plays a crucial role in expanding the company's fiber technology across the nation. This commission-based position involves door-to-door solicitation to connect residential customers with high-speed broadband services. The representative will work within an assigned territory, utilizing provided leads and sales best practices to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's mission of Building Gigabit America.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new residential customers from assigned leads & territories through door-to-door solicitation, outbound calling, and grassroots marketing events.
  • Analyze, develop, and deliver personalized sales proposals based on customer needs.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and complete training programs.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold following departmental policies and quality control guidelines.
  • Stay informed about competitors' activities in the assigned territory and report any changes to management.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel to and from assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and communication devices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong English language comprehension (spoken and written).

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous success in sales, prospecting, or cold calling, with 6 months+ of direct sales experience.
  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, particularly fixed telecommunications services such as cable, fiber, or fixed-wireless access.
  • Ability to educate consumers on related products and services.
