Sun Protection of Florida is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, making the first impression on customers eager to enhance their outdoor living experience. You will be responsible for managing pre-scheduled sales appointments, supported by our in-house production teams and sales management, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed. Your daily activities will involve driving your personal vehicle to meet 2-5 pre-scheduled sales appointments, which are generated through our aggressive marketing efforts. You will also have the opportunity to expand your territory by building relationships with builders, contractors, and other industry players. This position requires a resilient and driven individual who is not only skilled in sales but also possesses emotional intelligence and creativity. You will be expected to follow up with customers, collaborate with the inside sales team, and maintain communication throughout the installation process to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Drive personal vehicle to attend 2-5 pre-scheduled sales appointments per day in assigned territory.
  • Generate substantial sales revenue by closing deals on pre-scheduled appointments.
  • Meet monthly sales goals set by sales management.
  • Expand territory by fostering referrals and building relationships with builders and contractors.
  • Follow up with customers who have received quotes to close deals.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to assist in closing deals with previously quoted customers.
  • Assist the install coordination team in planning technical aspects of installations.
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers throughout the installation process.
  • Stay updated on post-sale tasks in the CRM system to ensure efficient installations.
  • Respond promptly to all communications from coworkers and customers.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in outside sales.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Salesforce.
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer service experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week, including one weekend day.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to appointments.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-3 years of in-home sales experience.
  • Experience in home improvement sales.
