S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a talented Outside Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing team. This position is crucial as you will be at the forefront of our efforts to find, attract, and close new customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to sell new inspection contracts for fire safety systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow preventers, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and special hazard systems. You will identify prospects, engage in cold calling when necessary, and meticulously plan and organize your sales activities to maximize effectiveness. In this fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, you will be expected to prospect for new clients and provide exceptional customer service. Your role will involve traveling to potential and existing customer sites to assess their needs and provide timely quotes using our CRM system. You will also be responsible for accurately tracking your activities in Salesforce, ensuring that all sales information is correctly transferred to the inspection department, and following up on leads in a timely manner. Networking and attending social marketing events will also be part of your responsibilities to expand your contact base and enhance sales opportunities. To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license and have a presentable vehicle. A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred. You should have at least 5 years of experience in selling inspection or service contracts, particularly in a business-to-business context. Previous experience in the fire sprinkler industry is a plus, along with mechanical aptitude or experience in fire life safety. Strong communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and a proven record of accomplishments are essential for this position. You will be expected to work independently, make decisions, and problem-solve effectively while building positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
