About the position

EquipmentShare is searching for an Outside Sales Representative (Territory Account Manager) for our Core Solutions rental location in Albany, NY. This role is pivotal in expanding our existing customer base by building strong relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting our equipment rental services, which include aerial equipment, earth moving equipment, material handling equipment, and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive in educating potential clients on how EquipmentShare can help them save money, increase their profits, and operate more efficiently. This position offers a competitive pay structure, including a base salary and uncapped commission, with no market restrictions. In this role, you will quickly respond to inbound leads and requests, ensuring that you maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to guarantee their satisfaction with our services. You will also be tasked with developing new sales strategies and techniques to increase our market share and enhance the customer experience. The position requires a tenacious and innovative individual with superior sales skills who can adapt to the fast pace of a growing company. Responsibilities

  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests
  • Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals
  • Educate clients on how EquipmentShare can help save them money and operate more efficiently
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior sales skills
  • Industry knowledge in rental or construction preferred but not required
  • Experience in B2B sales preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous education on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
