About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Culligan Midwest is responsible for developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing ones in the residential water treatment market. This role involves direct sales and rentals of water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and whole house filters, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions. The position offers a competitive salary with the potential for earnings exceeding $100K per year, along with comprehensive training and support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customers' current water quality and offer solutions to address and improve specific needs.
  • Build solid, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with management, service/installation teams, and customer service departments.
  • Regularly seek out and generate additional business opportunities to support your dealership.
  • Report sales activities/updates on a daily and weekly basis.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Three years of sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Consistently present a polished, professional appearance.
  • Pro-grade customer service skills and best practices will be considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
