About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Signarama Plano is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting a diverse range of custom signage products and services. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and the ability to work independently while contributing to the success of a locally owned franchise within a global network.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach in the Plano and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients by providing exceptional service and understanding their signage needs.
  • Conduct on-site consultations with clients to understand their signage requirements and deliver effective sales presentations showcasing our products and services.
  • Develop and present detailed proposals and quotes based on client needs, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, keeping clients informed throughout the process.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to provide strategic insights and solutions.
  • Provide post-sale support, ensuring clients are satisfied with their signage and the overall experience with Signarama Plano.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in signage, printing, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and present effectively.
  • Strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets and work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, schedules, and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools to manage leads and client communications.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Familiarity with the Plano and DFW area preferred.
