About the position

Auto-Chlor is immediately hiring for an Outside Sales Representative for our Concord, CA location. This position is crucial for our growth as we continue to build on our strong brand reputation that has thrived for over 80 years, primarily through reliable customer service and exceptional products. The ideal candidate will be a hustle-minded, money-motivated individual who is comfortable conducting field sales through face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. This role requires a proactive approach, including cold knocking and calling, and a strong drive to succeed in a team environment committed to providing outstanding customer service. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting restaurant and foodservice operations within a protected territory. You will conduct a minimum of 20 daily face-to-face cold calls on qualified prospects and manage your sales pipeline to meet a sales quota of 6 rental dish machines with companion products each period, totaling 78 rental sales each year. This role also involves repetitive calls on potential customers, networking, and researching additional markets for business expansion. You will prepare for and attend weekly sales meetings to discuss progress and strategies. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Great persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Able to travel frequently as required of the job
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
