About the position

EquipmentShare is searching for an Outside Sales Representative (Territory Accounts Manager) for our Core Solutions rental location in Wilmington, DE. This role is pivotal in expanding our existing customer base by building strong relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Core Solutions branches provide a variety of equipment rentals, including aerial equipment, earth moving equipment, material handling equipment, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating potential clients on how EquipmentShare can help them save money, increase their profits, and operate more efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on nurturing existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, you will quickly respond to inbound leads and requests, maintaining a high level of service and support for our customers. You will also be tasked with developing new sales strategies and techniques to increase our market share and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will be someone who is inspired by our mission to change the construction industry and is ready to take on the challenges that come with it. We are looking for individuals who are not only tenacious and innovative but also possess superior sales skills and a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests
  • Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals
  • Educate clients on how EquipmentShare can help save them money, make more money, and operate more efficiently
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Keep customers informed about new or additional ways EquipmentShare can improve their business
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior sales skills
  • Industry knowledge in rental or construction preferred but not required
  • Experience in B2B sales preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
  • Competitive nature with a team-oriented mindset

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Previous sales experience in a similar role
