About the position

Pella Windows & Doors of Virginia is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative. This role is designed for personable, self-motivated professionals who aspire to achieve a six-figure income through commission and bonuses, while also enjoying the stability of a bi-weekly guarantee. The position involves selling replacement windows and doors, providing tailored solutions to customers, and receiving comprehensive training to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to present and sell replacement windows and doors.
• Conduct needs analysis, product demonstrations, accurate measurements, and project scoping.
• Close sales effectively.
• Master the features and options of 10+ product lines and multiple installation methods following training.
• Present and explain financing options to customers.
• Generate leads through personal activities and sources, such as referrals and social media, in addition to receiving company-generated appointments.
• Use electronic software (e.g., quoting systems, MS Office, Outlook) to quote, sell, order products, and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide proactive, after-sales follow-up to ensure positive customer experiences and high close rates.
• Maintain a commitment to personal and professional development.
• Represent Pella in a professional, ethical manner at all times.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
• Comply with company policies on pricing, discounting, credit, and collections to ensure profitability.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation capable of holding multiple window samples and sales aids.
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds.
