About the position

The Wholesale Parts Outside Sales Representative at Sanderson Ford and Parts Mart is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers in the automotive parts industry. This role involves visiting independent repair shops, collision centers, fleets, and municipalities to promote the company's products and services. The representative will also handle individual parts sales and ensure customer needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Visit independent repair shops, collision centers, fleets, and municipalities to promote Sanderson Ford and Parts Mart.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Advocate for customers and address their needs.
• Work with factory representatives to conduct sales calls.
• Create promotions targeting specific commodities for customers.
• Process parts orders via phone, email, and in person.
• Monitor and complete necessary invoices, purchase orders, and credits in a timely manner.
• Support co-workers to enhance overall customer service.

Requirements

• Prior sales experience in automotive parts is preferred.
• Experience in aftermarket parts is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to connect and communicate effectively with customers.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Prior experience with CDK DMS is helpful.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
