About the position

AKE Safety Equipment, founded in 1989, is a leading manufacturer and seller of fire safety equipment, operating nationally with a vast network of dealers and sales representatives. We are currently seeking confident, driven, and experienced outside sales representatives located in agricultural areas across the country. Our sales representatives, who we refer to as road warriors, will sell our flagship product, STOP-FYRE, directly to farmers by traveling from farm to farm. Our average sales representatives earn $90,816 annually, with top performers exceeding $200,000 in commission by selling STOP-FYRE, known as The World's Best Fire Extinguisher, within their designated territories. The ideal candidates for this role will have extensive sales experience, a competitive spirit, and a strong connection to the agricultural community, whether through personal experience on a farm or regular business interactions with farmers. Additionally, a background in construction or excavation is highly valued, as is an entrepreneurial mindset characterized by independence, self-motivation, and a business-oriented approach. We are looking for candidates who are performers with a proven track record of success, willing to embrace new ideas, ambitious with a strong desire to succeed, independent, passionate about their work, and trustworthy, aligning with our core values. We maintain a selective hiring process, ensuring that only the best salespeople join our team. Importantly, we do not charge our salespeople any fees to work with us, nor do they need to purchase products upfront to sell. Responsibilities

  • Sell STOP-FYRE directly to farmers by traveling from farm to farm.
  • Manage and grow a protected sales territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers in the agricultural community.
  • Achieve sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of success.
  • Strong connection to the agricultural community, either through personal or professional experience.
  • Background in construction or excavation is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with self-driven and self-motivated characteristics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's own schedule.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in law enforcement, military, or as an EMT.
  • Familiarity with fire safety equipment or related products.
