As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting and securing new customers for a variety of products including uniforms, linen, first aid supplies, floor mats, restroom supplies, and facility rental services. Each sales consultant is assigned a specific territory filled with potential prospects to maximize success. In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate closely with the General Manager of the Alsco facility. Your primary goal will be to meet or exceed sales quotas, which include a $130 overall sales quota and an $80 Target Market sales quota. You will be expected to proactively identify and motivate targeted prospects through various methods such as cold-calling, email outreach, social media engagement, and lead qualification from the Alsco website. Maintaining an active sales funnel using the company’s CRM system is crucial, as is quickly contacting leads generated through Alsco’s investments in SEO and PPC marketing. You will also participate in company promotions, contests, and training sessions, while adhering to company sales policies and procedures. Building strong relationships with customers, managing their needs, and ensuring a smooth transition for new clients will be key components of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to operate a company vehicle safely, maintain its cleanliness, and ensure regular maintenance. Attendance at trade shows and marketing events may also be required, along with monitoring competitor activity in your territory.
