From Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to procurement, PTSolutions is a full-service provider dedicated to supporting our customers at every step. We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and support our growth in the Northwest Ohio territory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with customers in your assigned territory. As a member of the PTSolutions team, you will have the opportunity to build upon our strong industry reputation and provide products that meet and exceed customer requirements. Responsibilities

  • Develop new business relationships with potential and existing customers and meet KPIs regarding prospecting and closing deals.
  • Understand customer business models and product needs.
  • Craft solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
  • Prospect new clients in assigned territory.
  • Expand sales with existing clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all product lines.
  • Provide reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
  • Respond to RFQs as necessary.
  • Work closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Pursue VMI opportunities.
  • Notify customers of signature brand products.
  • Schedule sales calls and presentations with core supplier target account programs.
  • Maintain established margin objectives.
  • Encourage customer website usage.
  • Travel when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • CNC Machining experience or industrial distribution or supply chain experience.
  • Outside sales experience is required.
  • Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing a sales territory.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Self-directed with a high level of productivity and personal organization.
  • Ability to plan and organize tasks and work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm and professional under pressure.
  • Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
