As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling exterior building products including roofing, siding, windows, and waterproofing materials across your assigned territory. This role is crucial in driving profitable growth and achieving sales and margin budgets. You will prospect and identify new opportunities and customers, developing and maintaining relationships with your customer base and vendors. Partnering with branch operations, you will ensure an outstanding customer experience, utilizing customer relationship tools like Salesforce to manage your interactions effectively. In this position, you will have the opportunity to continue developing your sales skills and expanding your product knowledge. Extensive travel within your assigned market will be required, allowing you to engage directly with customers and understand their needs better. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, preferably in building products or a related field
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the construction or building materials industry
  • Knowledge of roofing, siding, and waterproofing materials
