Our expert team works closely with clients to identify the best point-of-sale solutions and streamline payment processing, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability. As a new consulting firm in the Pacific Northwest, we are committed to making a positive impact on local businesses and driving growth in the region. We are seeking motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representatives to join our growing team in a field sales capacity. As an independent contractor, you will play a key role in expanding our client base, establishing relationships with local businesses, and contributing to the success of Cumberland Business Systems. This position offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while working in a dynamic field sales environment. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to build a lucrative income based on their sales performance, as this is a commission-only role. In this role, you will conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs and educate them on the benefits of our point-of-sale system selection process and cost-effective payment processing solutions. You will collaborate with clients to customize consulting packages tailored to their specific requirements and present the value of our expertise in optimizing point-of-sale systems. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive training to clients on the utilization and optimization of selected point-of-sale systems, while maintaining accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of our point-of-sale system selection process and cost-effective payment processing solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to customize consulting packages tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Present and promote the value of Cumberland Business Systems's expertise in optimizing point-of-sale systems and securing the lowest processing rates.
  • Travel within the Pacific Northwest region to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Provide comprehensive training to clients on the utilization and optimization of selected point-of-sale systems.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and payment processing is a plus, but not required.
