Labor Solutions is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the St. Louis, MO area. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers within assigned territories, with the goal of gaining and retaining market share. The Sales Account Manager will engage in various activities to establish connections with potential customers, including cold calling, walk-ins, and leveraging referrals. The position is designed for individuals who are eager to generate significant sales per account on a year-to-year basis. The responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative encompass all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. This includes managing a variety of sales cycles that can range from immediate needs to long-term engagements. The representative will be accountable for prospecting potential customers through various means, prioritizing the qualification of leads, and effectively communicating with decision-makers at different levels within organizations. Presenting and selling company services to both new and existing customers is a key component of the role, along with developing concise rate sheets, proposals, and contracts that align with customer expectations and the staffing agency's requirements. Achieving agreed-upon sales targets by set deadlines is essential, as is resolving customer inquiries and complaints. The representative will also be responsible for setting follow-up appointments to keep customers informed of the latest developments and for following up to identify any issues that can be translated into sales opportunities. Creating sales materials for presentations and maintaining a close working relationship with office staff to keep them updated on customer requirements are also critical tasks. Additionally, the representative will manage the internal database and perform quarterly or year-end reviews to formulate effective future plans.
