About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at AmeriPro Roofing is responsible for educating homeowners about their entitlements related to storm damage for roofing, siding, and gutter projects. This role focuses on maximizing sales opportunities while providing support through a fully staffed operational department, allowing representatives to concentrate on selling rather than project management. The position offers a performance-based pay structure with significant earning potential and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, identify, and close new sales opportunities through targeted canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, and social media.
  • Manage and maximize assigned territory effectively.
  • Conduct exterior property inspections to identify wind and hail damage.
  • Convert inspections into filed claims and signed contracts with homeowners.
  • Review the scope of work and finalize contracts with homeowners.
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on-site to discuss claims.
  • Collect funds and insurance deductibles from homeowners.
  • Obtain referrals from satisfied customers and through networking.
  • Build trust and relationships with homeowners by delivering on promises.
  • Educate customers on industry standards, products, and company policies.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using the company's CRM system.
  • Maintain constant communication with sales leadership, homeowners, and office staff.
  • Prepare for and attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Follow the company's sales system, policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven full cycle sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle with insurance coverage (10 years or newer preferred to qualify for vehicle allowance).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a smartphone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures.
  • Industry knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience using a CRM platform is required.
  • Experience following a documented consultative sales system is preferred.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently.
  • Dedication to personal career development and achieving set goals.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (any state applicable).
  • Preferred to be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
