About the position
The Outside Sales Representative role at NFIB focuses on engaging with small business owners through in-person prospecting to promote membership in the organization. This position offers a flexible work/life balance while providing comprehensive training and support to ensure success in a commission-based sales environment. The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering effective sales presentations, and closing sales to contribute to the mission of supporting small businesses.
Responsibilities
- Meeting small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting)
- Memorizing and utilizing NFIB's proven 5-minute verbatim sales presentation
- Building quick rapport and delivering an engaging presentation
- Overcoming objections and closing the sale
- Processing payment on the spot
Requirements

- 13 weeks training pay (or commission, whichever is greater) - paid weekly
- W-2, 100% commission with monthly and quarterly bonuses

- $80,000 - $90,000 typical first year earnings
- UNCAPPED earning potential (Straight Commission)
- 40% of our sales force earns 6-figures with the top 10% earning over 200K
