About the position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role focuses on driving sales of industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment, along with service and parts growth, by developing and managing relationships with clients primarily in the southern Houston metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a passion for technology sales, and the ability to analyze market trends to effectively position our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value of our products.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively position offerings in the market.
  • Provide regular updates on sales progress and territory performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B or rotating equipment sales environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
