As an Outside Sales Representative for Snap-on, you will be part of a dynamic team that has been a leader in the automotive service equipment industry since 1920. This role focuses on selling John Bean products, which include advanced equipment such as wheel aligners, tire changers, and collision repair equipment, to a variety of clients including automotive repair facilities, dealerships, and collision centers. You will work within a defined territory, leveraging your expertise to demonstrate the value and capabilities of Snap-on's innovative products. Your responsibilities will include generating sales through effective relationship-building and customer engagement. You will be expected to accurately quote prices, prepare proposals, and conduct location surveys to ensure the right fit for customer needs. Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through cold calls and proactive canvassing will be essential to your success. You will also collaborate with field service team members to provide cohesive customer experiences and facilitate training and demonstrations of the equipment. In this role, you will analyze your territory's potential, track sales, and report your findings to management. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines, along with your strong technical abilities and familiarity with automotive service equipment, will be crucial.
