About the position

The Residential Connectivity Outside Sales Specialist at Spectrum is responsible for connecting communities with essential telecommunications services through door-to-door sales. This role requires a goal-oriented and self-motivated individual who can work independently and is passionate about providing excellent customer service. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing the specialist to work during evenings and weekends to maximize customer contact and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports efforts to enhance the customer experience.
• Acquires new residential customers through door-to-door contact.
• Conducts needs analysis with prospective customers.
• Develops and presents sales presentations on products and services.
• Completes necessary paperwork to support sales activities.
• Participates in sales meetings and training programs.
• Achieves monthly sales quotas in various telecommunications services.
• Completes administrative tasks related to products sold.
• Informs management of competitive pricing and marketing changes.
• Attends and completes training programs.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen and formulate needs-based sales strategies.
• Strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories using a reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems and communication devices.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
