About the position

In an Outside Sales Representative position at Saela, you will actively engage with our current customer base by providing world-class pest control inspections and recommending the best pest solutions available. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will communicate clearly with customers about the services we offer, the best treatments for their pest concerns, and preventative measures. Your primary focus will be on engaging with local homeowners in a friendly and informative manner, explaining the benefits of Saela's pest control services, addressing questions or concerns, and tailoring your approach and services to meet the individual needs of each potential client. You will be provided with warm active leads and referrals daily, along with additional opportunities to expand our customer base. You will have monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management team, and your manager will work closely with you to ensure your success in reaching or exceeding your sales goals. Occasionally, you will be required to visit our warehouse located in Kansas City, MO for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, and other related activities. This position offers a guaranteed base pay for the first four months of employment, with opportunities for increased sales commissions each year and the potential for an annual bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class pest control inspections to current customers.
  • Recommend the best pest solutions available based on customer needs.
  • Engage with local homeowners in a friendly and informative manner.
  • Communicate clearly about the services offered and address customer questions or concerns.
  • Tailor services to meet the individual needs of each potential client.
  • Work with warm active leads and referrals provided daily.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions at the warehouse as required.

Requirements

  • Sales experience preferred in labor or pest control service.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure success.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience performing inspections in HVAC, solar, internet, or cable services.
  • Experience running an independent route or face-to-face customer service.
