About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Roto-Rooter Services Company is responsible for conducting territory sales visits to promote excavation and water restoration services. This role focuses on pursuing sales opportunities generated from field service technicians and call centers, while providing excellent customer service and support. The position offers job security, competitive pay, and opportunities for career advancement within a well-known national brand.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct territory sales visits offering excavation or water restoration services.
  • Pursue sales opportunities and solid leads generated from field service technicians and call centers.
  • Follow-up with current customers to offer established solutions to their plumbing or water problems.
  • Use an established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to quote repair/replacement options/solutions and close the sale.
  • Act as a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality
  • Working knowledge of common software programs
  • Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.

Nice-to-haves

  • Plumbing experience is not necessary or required
  • Prior experience in outside sales
