About the position

The Outside Sales Representative role at Frontier Communications involves connecting communities to high-speed fiber broadband services. This position is commission-based and requires door-to-door solicitation within an assigned territory. The representative will be responsible for acquiring new residential customers, delivering personalized sales proposals, and achieving monthly sales quotas while working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new residential customers from assigned leads & territories through door-to-door solicitation, outbound calling, and lead follow-up.
  • Analyze, develop, and deliver personalized sales proposals based on customer needs.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and complete training programs.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas and complete all administrative tasks related to products sold.
  • Stay informed about competitors' activities in the assigned territory and report any changes to management.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel to and from assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and communication devices.
  • Strong English language comprehension (spoken and written).

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous success in sales, prospecting, or cold calling, with 6 months+ of direct sales experience.
  • Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, particularly fixed telecommunications services such as cable, fiber, or fixed-wireless access.
  • Ability to educate consumers on related products and services.
