As an Equipment Sales Specialist at Snap-on, you will be at the forefront of selling John Bean products, which are renowned for their quality and innovation in the automotive service equipment industry. Your primary focus will be on a defined territory where you will engage with general service automotive repair facilities, automotive dealerships, and collision centers. This role is pivotal in driving sales and ensuring that customers receive the best products tailored to their needs. You will leverage your expertise in Snap-on equipment to demonstrate the value and capabilities of our offerings, which include wheel aligners, wheel balancers, tire changers, alignment lifts, automotive lifts, specialty lifts, brake lathes, collision repair equipment, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In this position, you will be responsible for generating sales through various means, including cold calls, lead generation, and proactive canvassing of your territory. You will need to accurately quote prices, prepare proposals, and conduct location surveys to assess the fit of desired products for potential customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers is crucial, as is collaborating with field service team members to deliver cohesive customer experiences. You will also facilitate dynamic customer training sessions and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of Snap-on products. Your role will require you to analyze territory potential, track sales, and generate reports for management, ensuring that you are meeting or exceeding sales goals consistently.
