About The Position

Wage Range: $58,000 to $87,000 depending on experience. Incentive based on net profit performance, paid quarterly. Tuition reimbursement and career development opportunities. Compensation based on knowledge, skills, and ability. The primary objective of this position is to establish, cultivate and nurture relationships with Farwest customers by delivering quality metal solutions that drive customer success. The territory boundaries for this role extend from Sacramento to Reno and surrounding cities. In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales volume and market share in the assigned territory by building strong partnerships with the existing customer base to increase their profitability through their relationship with Farwest. You will also focus on expanding value-added services with current customers, moving the relationship from a transactional basis to a fully integrated partnership. Additionally, you will be tasked with expanding the customer base by educating new accounts about Farwest's available services and capabilities. You will need to develop and build relationships, create partnerships with the Farwest Inside Sales Team to maximize customer service, and utilize all resources of the company to assure a successful partnership. Engaging in the problem-solving process with customers and internal Farwest resources when issues arise is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will be expected to obtain and provide market information to assist customers and identify competition in the territory to develop strategies for building market share.
