As an Outside Sales Representative at Roto-Rooter, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base by conducting territory sales visits. Your primary focus will be on offering our excavation and water restoration services to potential clients. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong desire to excel in outside sales. You will be responsible for pursuing sales opportunities and solid leads generated from our field service technicians and call centers. Your ability to follow up with current customers and provide established solutions to their plumbing or water problems will be key to your success in this role. In this position, you will utilize an established pricing matrix and insurance guidelines to quote repair and replacement options, ultimately closing the sale. As a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers, you will need to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring that customers feel informed and confident in their decisions. While plumbing experience is not required, a strong customer service focus and an organized, self-starter attitude with an outgoing personality are essential traits for this role. Previous experience in outside sales, particularly in in-home services, is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.
