About the position

We are looking for a self-motivated Territory Outside Sales Representative to develop automotive and industrial accounts in the Southern California area. This is a unique opportunity to represent a market leader in automotive refinishing, and be part of the company's continued growth as we expand existing markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for presenting product demonstrations, providing product knowledge, and building strong customer relationships. This position requires extensive driving and some out-of-town travel, estimated at 25-50%, primarily for cold calling on automotive and industrial accounts. In-depth industry training will be provided to the right candidate, but prior outside sales experience is essential. The territory for this role covers Southern California, with potential expansion into Arizona and Nevada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automotive and industrial accounts in the Southern California area.
  • Present product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Provide product knowledge to clients and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct cold calling on automotive and industrial accounts.
  • Manage extensive driving and out-of-town travel as required.

Requirements

  • Outside / Field sales experience is required.
  • Proven closing skills in sales.
  • Experience in product demonstration.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% out-of-town.
